Verify transcripts and certificates
Transcripts and certificates that the student retrieves themselves in Ladok can be verified by the recipient to ensure that the document has not been tampered with since it was retrieved. Transcripts and certificates can be verified within 90 days from the date it was issued.
At the bottom of the document, there is a verification code and the student’s personal identification number. Use this information on Ladok’s verification page to view the transcript stored in Ladok.
Types of transcripts and certificates
The following can be retrieved from Ladok:
- Certificate of anticipated participation:
Shows the courses and programmes the student has been admitted to but has not yet registered for. The information is retrieved from the higher education institution the student selects. - Certificate of registration:
Shoes the courses the student has been registered for. The information is retrieved from the higher education institution the student selects. - Official transcript of Records:
Shows the student’s results for courses or course components (“modules”). The information is retrieved from the higher education institution the student selects. - National official transcript of records:
Shows the student’s results for courses or course components (“modules”). The information is retrieved from all higher education institutions that use Ladok.
