Share certificate
Those who have a degree or other certificate issued in Ladok can share information about it, for example, with an employer. This is done by retrieving a control code in Ladok and sending it to a recipient. Using the code, the recipient can view the information available in Ladok about the certificate and its contents.
Each educational institution that use Ladok decide whether the function to share certificates is accessible to their students, so it may vary between different universities.
Share information about your certificate
If you hold a certificate, you can log in to Ladok for students and retrieve a code that allows you to share information about your certificate. The same code can be used multiple times and for multiple recipients.
How to share information about your certificate:
- Log in to Ladok for students and navigate to “Degrees and certificates”
- Select “Share certificate”
- Send the control code and your personal identity number to your intended recipient(s)
Verify certificate information
Verifying that an individual has a certificate can easily be done digitally by entering the personal identity number of the person whose certificate you wish to verify and a control code that they will send you. You will then be able to see information about the certificate and its content. The information is retrieved directly from Ladok.
